ASI Audition
Service Description
Thank you for your interest in ArtsCentric’s Artistic Summer Institute (ASI)! Auditions are designed to give each student the opportunity to share their strengths across acting, singing, and movement in a supportive, focused environment. Each audition slot is one full hour, and students are required to stay for the entire duration of their scheduled audition. Audition Structure Part One: Acting & Vocal Audition Students will begin with their prepared materials: One monologue One song (musical theatre recommended) Students should bring a binder with additional sheet music in case the audition panel requests to hear something else. An accompanist will be provided. Part Two: Dance / Movement Observation The second half of the audition will consist of a dance and choreography observation. This portion allows the ASI team to assess how students learn movement, adapt to choreography, and perform in a group setting. No prior choreography needs to be prepared for this section. Arrival Time Auditionees should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in and warm up. Auditions will begin promptly at the scheduled time, and late arrivals may miss part of the audition process. ASI auditions are not just about what you already know—they’re about potential, curiosity, and a willingness to grow. We look forward to seeing you in the room!
