About Us

ArtsCentric, a non-profit arts organization, exists to provide authentic artistic experiences,  educate and empower youth and the community, and create access and opportunity for emerging Black artists through reimagined storytelling that celebrates Black culture and creativity.

We aim to enrich lives by addressing racial inequity in the performing arts, assist low-to-moderate-income artists of all ages to receive training for performance, education, and administrative careers in the arts and provide affordable access to the arts and cultural enrichment activities.

Our Story

We believe in more than just the beauty of a performance; we believe in the power of authentic art that reflects our heritage and celebrates our history. Founded by Kevin McAllister and Cedric Lyles, our journey began in a moment of frustration—seeing a lack of representation and opportunity in the artistic world for people of color. This drive pushed us to create a space where voices like yours resonate, where art doesn't just exist, but thrives in its authenticity.
